The Castelli Premio bib short for men is a performance cycling pant for the demanding cyclist and made for long but comfortable bike rides. 'Less is more' is evident in this respect. The seamless, sleek black design, laser engraved logos and laser cut finish create the high-end look these shorts stand for. The new fabric developed by Castelli ensures that the trousers are made up of one piece while each part has its own qualities.
Castelli's new fabric ensures that it changes according to needs. For example, the lower leg features unfinished ends with rubber that lie flat on the leg. This provides a comfortable feel and prevents the trouser legs from creeping up. On the thigh, the fabric is slightly lighter without compromising on supporting to the muscles. At the pelvic area, you feel the support increases more to keep the chamois in place. The fabric is also slightly thicker here to prevent the trousers from becoming transparent. Because this can all be achieved with the same fabric, no separate parts need to be sewn together and the trousers are made up of one piece.
The braces are made of one piece of fabric that lie flat on the shoulders. This provides just enough tension to keep the cycling shorts in place without cutting into the shoulders. In addition, the fabric is perforated so it feels cool in summer.
The Castelli Progetto X2 Air chamois is the ideal chamois when you also do long rides on your bike. Designed to protect your skin properly, this chamois has the right thicknesses to protect you regardless of your time in the saddle. The top layer is made of microfibre that can stretch 4 ways and has no seams to create minimal friction while biking. The foam used has been perforated by Castelli to make it breathable. There are two different parts in the chamois, giving you even better support where you need it.
